The rook is the most beautiful of our corvids, a celebrated gastronomic delicacy in parts of the country, and known for building its nests in branches that barely support its raven-black beauty. Glendronach 21 YO Parliament is aged in the "heaviest" Oloroso and Pedro Ximenes sherry casks for at least 21 years. During such a long maturation, a whisky with a significant influence from the cask and its previous contents develops. Parliament is bottled at a full 48% ABV to preserve as much of its flavor richness as possible.
